At first I could not get it in the socket so I luckily tested it in my cheapest vcr and it broke on first insertion. This adapter risk bricking your expensive s-vhs vhs player or tv it almost bricked mine.

was broken (loose bits inside) when it arrived and the scart shield fell out when attempting to plug it in to test operation
