I bought there for an old 10Mbps Hub. Unfortunately they are quite bulky and cannot use more than 4 out of 8 ports, because of their size. Furthermore, it is quite difficult to attach a cross cable on free ports because this adapter extends laterally. This might have been prevented through better design.

Ease of use, just plug the cables on each where they should be and they work perfectly. They fit right and they are firm.Definitely would recommend them.

Bought this to enable a direct connection between my Mac and a NAS instead of going via a switch. Doing so cut the response times almost by half. Having a crossover adapter means I have a choice of existing cables to use depending on where I move my Mac/NAS, so it's more flexible solution than buying a crossover cable. Plus there are two adapters in the pack, and being bright red means I am much less likely to mislay them.

Einige eingebettete Systemen haben immer noch Ethernet-Chips, die kein MDI-X (also automatische Erkennung der Kabel-Belegung) unterstützen. Für solche Fälle ist dieser Zwischenstecker prima.

Facilísimo para conectar dos equipos iguales entre si, ya no te debes preocupar con que norma estn grinpados los cables de red, conectas en cada extremo y a funcionar. Excelente.
