It doesn't fall off! It fits my sloping shoulders! It doesn't damage the finish of my instrument (if you tighten it correctly) and the adjustment process is super easy and you can personalize it to fit perfectly on your shoulder! I pair it with their center shoulder rest but placed in the traditional place, and I have seen such a reduction in my shoulder pain and strain when playing (they also connect so that the base of the chin rest is the same for the shoulder rest reducing the amount of attachments on the instrument). It's a bit pricey, but for true comfort when playing it's worth its weight in gold. It also draws the eye and envy of everyone I play with. I've noticed that only having one point of contact for both my shoulder and chin rest also increases the quality of my side as it can reverberate much easier. If traditional rests don't cut it, I swear by this little guy. (Also I use the viola model on a 16.5" viola, if you have a smaller instrument that's more violin sized you might want to check which one would fit better for you)

Buongiorno a tutti! Ero interessato al modello adattabile ad una mentoniera NON wittner e non era molto chiaro che quello in vendita non è quello che desideravo comprare. Sappiate che sono due modelli diversi (281 per mentoniera wittner e 282 per mentoniera qualisasi) e che la 281 non si può adattare per altre mentoniere (non si possono comprare i ganci per le altre mentoniere anche perché non è pensata per accoglierli).Il prodotto l'avevo già provato e non mi convinceva perché non mi dava stabilità e faceva "cadere" in avanti lo strumento... ma era tantissimi anni fa e credo che qualcosa sia cambiato, ma mi riservo di riprovarla.Buona musica!

Dreadful, flimsy bit of kit. Totally unfit for purpose. Very difficult to fit. Unrobust plastic parts. Very disappointing.

Leider vermag die im Grunde tolle Erfindung nicht zu halten, was sie verspricht. Zwar kann die Schulterstütze nicht mehr herunterfallen, aber die eingestellte Position bleibt leider nicht erhalten. Die Kugelgelenke verstellen sich, obwohl sie festgeschraubt sind und müssen immer wieder in die gewünschte Position bewegt werden.
