I bought this keyboard to work with synthesia app and it doesn't. I have contacted the manufacturer. While I appreciate their fast response it hasn't helped as much as I would like. I will change review if they help me figure this out. I've tried ipad (maybe because the cable isn't apple it doesn't work I'll give them that) but I also tried the cable that came with it with an android phone. The synthesia app does recognize the piano with the phone, but the lights still will not work as they are supposed to. I've tried adjusting settings in the app.The screws that hold the stand up are suppose to be hand turned but are so cheap that they hurt to turn because the hand turn part is such cheap plastic. I've accidentally pressed down too hard on the keyboard and the stand shifts down.If you aren't wanting to use the midi for anything, I guess it's a decent keyboard for someone to play with. Stand could be better.
