J'ai mis 5 étoiles non pas pour ses qualités sonores qui sont bonnes sans être extraordinaire, mais pour son côté couteau suisse à un prix vraiment abordable.Voici ce qu'il inclut :Sorties XLR (symétriques), RCA, casque 6,35mm et 4,4mmEntrées : HDMI Arc, optique, coaxial, USB type C (1.0 et 2.0), Bluetooth (Aptx et LDAC)Tout cela aux alentours de 200€, rien à redire.Alors certes, pas de DAC ESS ni AKM, mais 4 puces Cirrus Logic CS43131 (2 par canal) qu'on retrouve dans des mini-DAC portables.Des Op Amp de qualité, mais en quantité moindre, 3 OPA1612a qui permettent une amplification plus que correcte et puissante ( 2x 3W en 16Ω pour la sortie casque 4.4mm). Certes, il y a eu des économies, l'écran LCD a un effet "vintage" (comme nos anciens réveils), mais reste lisible. Certes le son n'est pas le meilleur du marché, mais n'est en aucune façon mauvais, bien au contraire et les mesures plus que correctes en attestent.Je le conseille principalement à ceux qui désirent écouter au casque sur la TV (grâce au HDMI Arc meilleur que le câble optique (toslink)) et y brancher via les sorties XLR deux enceintes actives en stéréo, puis pourquoi pas un sub sur la sortie RCA.S'il coûtait le double, il perdrait 2 étoiles, mais c'est justement sur le prix qu'il est imbattable. Une fois de plus, SMSL parvient à sortir un produit au rapport qualité/prix de folie.PS : Le seul DAC tout en un qui propose les mêmes fonctionnalités dont le HDMI Arc est le FiiO K19 à 1400€, soit quasiment sept fois plus cher. Il y a également le SMS DO200 PRO, mais il n'y a pas de sorties casque.

It's indeed smaller than the DL200 so full size amps like the A90 won't fit (though the A30Pro fits great). There's no high gain mode, just a single one. There's no 4/5 volt switch like was confirmed. Volume control is in decibels (-99 to 0) and not the usual 0-99 on the DL200. It's got a no oversampling filter with the others, I just kept it on the default for now. The plugs on the front are pretty recessed, so thick connectors might have clearance issues. It runs ice cold, even under heavy load for an hour or so. I ran different file formats like DSF (SACD) and it handled them well with the current SMSL driver in Foobar2000. The 4.4mm jack is smooth now, previous models have been pretty scratchy inserting a plug until worn in.One nice thing is there's no tick/pop when switching bit rates like on the DL200 and D-6s, so speaker people rejoice. All the rest checks out, Bluetooth 5.1 works well, but didn't try the HDMI yet. Coax and Optical is smooth even with a cheap Sybasonic I use to test for functionality. Noise floor is silent when pausing a song with 18 ohm IEMs and turning the volume up to listen for a hiss, nothing to hear. I'll believe the power rating when I see measurements, I remember the DL200 in high gain being a lot more impressive. If I was going to pair this to an amplifier, it would be the Drop SMSL HO150x which would easily fit, and has twice the power. I have an H300 and H400 but doubt those or the A90 are going to fit on it.It sounds great, and I'm sure this will measure really well. I just don't know why they made it smaller when the XLR plugs on the back are larger than the DL200 with it's 1/4" balanced outputs. One really nice feature is the volume wheel is so far away from the headphone jacks, no chance you'll run into them. The wheel is smooth, but has soft clicks for each DB change. Overall it's really nice, but if you plan to put a full size amp on it, check the ruler measurements I did to make sure it'll fit. It uses the standard RC-8C remote that comes with many of their other things. As you can see, the XLR connectors are upside down, so short 6" interconnects won't work, 1ft or longer are best so you have some room to twist them.It's a great value for a 5.2 volt DAC with XLR and not 1/4" RCA if you have a ton of XLR cables already. The display turns off completely with an adjustable timeout. People with speakers will like this a lot more than the DL200 or D-6s, which make a slight pop when switching bit rates. This is a different chipset and is silent when switching. Also the 4.4mm connector is smooth on this one, other recent models like the M300SE and DL200 felt pretty "grindy" rough when inserting a plug. If it's not enough power down the road, the Drop SMSL HO150x or Topping A30Pro are my top choices to sit on top of it.The only mystery or reason not to buy it, is the single gain stage. Without a high gain, I can nearly max out the volume when equalizing my Hifiman Deva Pro Wired (basically it's the stealth driver version of the HE5XX). I'm going to run some volume measurements with others I have with the same claimed power output. It just seems more like 1 watt into 32 ohm, but I'll soon find out. Will update my Audiosciencereview and Head-Fi reviews as well if anything changes. As a DAC into the A30Pro it's amazing though. - Dunring

Frontalmente è situato il display, caratterizzato da una buona visibilità: quest'ultimo presenta diversi indicatori led che permettono di comprendere le modalità e lo stato di funzionamento dell'amplificatore. Inoltre, sempre frontalmente sono situate due entrate jack per cuffie, rispettivamente da 4.4 mm e 6.35 mm; infine, è presente una rotella per la regolazione dell'audio che ruotando restituisce un feedback deciso, e per mezzo della quale è possibile regolare puntualmente il livello dell'audio stesso. Diversamente, sul retro si trovano diverse interfaccie: una porta HDMI ARC; una presa usb c; un'uscita audio ottica; un'uscita coassiale audio; connettori RCA; connettori XLR. Nella zona posteriore sono situate delle rifiniture in gomma morbida su ciascun angolo per garantire stabilità sulla superficie di appoggio.Da un punto di vista funzionale l'amplificatore si comporta a dovere: esso è caratterizzato da 4 chip di tipo CS43131, e questi risultano essere dei chip ad alte prestazioni audio DAC per amplificatori per cuffie, tra i migliori in un tale contesto. Nella prova pratica la qualità audio che ne consegue per mezzo delle due interfaccie jack audio integrate risulta ottimale e adeguata per un prodotto che si inserisce in una specifica fascia di mercato. È altresì possibile, per mezzo della connessione ubs c, connettere l'amplificatore a un terminale o a diverse console quali PS5: in quest'ultimo caso la connessione sarà in modalità USB 1.1 così come riportato nel manuale utente. In dotazione è presente un'antenna bluetooth che è possibile montare sull'amplificatore, per mezzo della specifica interfaccia di connessione, in modo tale da poter avere anche input bluetooth oltre a quello hdmi arc, usb appena citato e ottico.In dotazione è altresì presente un telecomando, alimentato a batteria (due ministilo non fornite in dotazione), per mezzo del quale è possibile comodamente porre in essere le diverse azioni di controllo del decoder audio.Si riporta che, come stabilito dal produttore, l'amplificatore DL100 presenta una cerficazione Hi-Res della Japan Audio Association (JAS).Complessivamente l'amplificatore svolge pienamente la propria funzione con risultati desiderabili e di ottima qualità. Per la fascia di prodotto in cui questo si inserisce è certamente una valida opzione se si ha necessità di un prodotto con le caratteristiche sopra esposte e più ampiamente riportate nel manuale utente. L'articolo è stato provato per diversi mesi (circa 3) e ha mantenuto intatte le proprie capacità risultando valido anche sotto questo punto di vista.

2024 is the year of the China budget dac's . It outperforms older dac's costing 4 x or more. This one sounds like the Fiio r2r dac in Non Oversampling Mode (pcm filter F5). The bonus about this DAC it comes with a remote control and Bluetooth. The single end rca pre-outs aren't as robust as the fiio r2r. I'm using a class A pre-amp in between the dac and a 2ch amp which takes it to another level of sound quality. CD's ripped into WAV 64bit floating point onto a NVME(QLC 4 bit sounds better than TLC) using foobar2000 opensource app. It's has way less jitter than streaming services. Headphone amp sound really good with HD6XX. BTW you might want to invest in Monoprice Monolith USB Digital Audio Cable - USB A to USB B, and a usb c adaptor, work's well with this DA. If money not a problem get the NEO by Oyaide D+ USB Class A.
