This was purchased for our children aged 5 and 8 (girls) as additions to sets we had already. The original sets were from when I was a child, several decades ago. (!!) They are still brilliant and useable all these years later. The additional sets have given them extra ideas, both of them create all sorts of fun shapes and designs. They are a universal and seem to last forever…brilliant toy.

Our 4 year old grandson loves them. He can be really creative with it.
