8K@60Hz出力に対応したUSB-C to HDMIアダプター。基本、プラグアンドプレイなので、インストール作業なども不要。繋げばすぐに使えます。アダプターが金属製の外観で放熱性も高いデザイン。アダプターから伸びるUSBケーブルも接続している機械から程よい長さ。8k映像出力に関しては、本品以外にモニター、ケーブルが対応しているものを用意して、初めて実現出来るものですが残念ながら、当方の環境はそこまでの映像出力に対応した機器はありませんのでその部分の感想は出せませんが、そこに拘っている方じゃなければ十分にキレイな映像出力を堪能出来ます。HDMIケーブルは手持ちがある…という方向けの商品ですね。なお、HDMIケーブルも手持ちがない。もしくは新規で用意するならアダプターを介さずにケーブルとして同等性能をもつのものとして同メーカーからST-YH8KCMという商品が出ています。環境、用途によってチョイスするといいと思います。

It can get a bit warm to the touch but otherwise no issues to report using the adapter. Unfortunately I don't have a 8K monitor to test, for reference I tested this on a Dell U3223QE connected to a M2 Mac mini that I use for a bit of office work and the occasional videos, no gaming.Comparing this adapter to Satechi's 4K version of this adapter which I also own, the main differences between the two are:- This 8K adapter can support a higher refresh rate at 4K (120Hz compared to 60Hz)- Physically the 8K adapter is larger by a bit, it's wider and thicker, the cable is braided instead of rubber and the cable is slightly longerFor my setup this adapter is simply overkill as my monitor is not capable of exploiting its full potential but for those with the hardware or looking to future proof themselves you can't go wrong with this adapter.
