I don't like writing bad reviews but I feel I need to share the honest truth with my 3D printing brothers and sisters out there about this resin. It's garbage. Don't buy this. I used it once and not only did the print fail miserably but it also nearly destroyed my FEP, which I had just changed out. This stuff, I learned after the fact from someone on Facebook, needs to be vigorously filtered before use. This is something I didn't do because I didn't know to do it. And I feel as though resin should be able to be used straight out of the bottle without any processing except for, of course, shaking the bottle. I'd give this crap zero stars if it were possible. Buyer beware!

I had over exposure issues with this resin and the prints are very transparent with some silver flakes. Will not buy again. I am using the remainder of this bottle but not for the intended purpose.

First yes, this review is from someone who was disappointed in the product and who rarely reviews products they were satisfied with. Here's what I didn't like about this "Silver Metalshift 3D Printer Resin"1) It truly is only metallic looking on surfaces parallel to the build plate. Otherwise it is a semi-clear gray color. If you are looking for a resin that will at least give you a head start in producing a metallic looking 3D print keep looking.2) it is extremely brittle. Sliced models that I have successfully printed many times in say, Phrozen Aqua 8k crash often in this resin, breaking free from the support structure.3) It is a PITA to clean out of the vat. Exposing the vat with the 15s cleaning cycle does not provide a "clean" film to peel off -- instead broken and irregular, depending, apparently, on where the metallic particles happened to be most dense. Cleaning the result out of the vat results in many large pieces of semi cured metallic shards that are.. just a pain to clean up. Something I'd be ok dealing with if the prints were any good.Bottom line: if you are making flat things like coins or shields and can orient your model to be parallel to the build plate, you may get good results. Otherwise, forget it.

Let me start by saying the resin, as a resin, was terrific. It printed well, the odor was minimal, and the addition of the spigot with the bottle was chef's kiss... I wish every manufacturer would do this. The problem, and the reason I can only give this a 3 is that even after vigorously shaking the resin for 10 minutes, and seeing a good, thick, rich, bath of metallic fluid once poured into the vat... that is not what printed. Honestly, I'm not even sure where the metallic mica, or whatever went, because the metallic was gone by the time I pulled from the build plate. What was in the vat still looked metallic, but the finished print was not, and there was no metallic residue as the vat was used. The metallic just disappeared. I would certainly buy any normal color again from this brand, but I would not waste my time on the metallics. I'll just have to stick to paint post-process.

So as a resin, it printed fine, no issues with details or anything like that, but it doesn't look metallic at all. BUT I will say the bottle design is amazing, comes with a seperate lid and pour spout to make super easy pouring and returning unused resin to bottle.
