This masonry twist drill did my job easily, it looks like it would last for years and it’s price was very reasonable.

Not much more you can say really. I only had up to 12mm before, but I needed this to fit the anchor bolts to put up the brackets for my awning. Don't know when I'll next need this sort of size, but at this price I didn't mind buying it for just this one job.Because of the size of the holes I didn't want to risk such a large diameter bit skipping on the surface so I drilled some 5mm pilot holes first to make sure they were in the right place and to give the point of this something to fit into, then this just chewed straight through the brick work like a hot knife through butter. I 've only done 4 holes with it, so is a bit hard to tell, but it still seems as sharp as it was when it arrived.
