I ordered 2 of these to knit socks and I did not like them at all. I found that it was hard to slide the wool onto the needle and the little bump at the end was not good.

A agulha é o que eu esperava. Precisava de uma agulha fina e escolhi essa também para testar o material. Gostei bastante e a ponta arredondada também facilita o trabalho com determinadas linhas. Já adquiri outras agulhas da marca e com esse tipo de ponta.

I was wondering how they did it, using carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is literally fiber, so the body of the needle is great. It's got a lot of give and is especially nice for finer needles. I think it will be easier on my hands then metal needles. But the points are fiber, and they essentially fuzz.Prym has solved this by giving the whole needle a protective coating, the carbon fiber tips and the steel cable, which is similar to the Chiaogoo cable. This kind of unifies the whole needle.The coating is smooth and just a tiny bit less slippery than stainless steel needles.The tip is wonderful. It feels a little different from most needles, but I got used to it quickly. It seems as pointy as the best, but that little blob at the end makes the equivalent of a concave tip, which is really nice to knit with, and the blob at the tip keeps the stitches from sliding off too easily.I want to get another one, but money is tight right now.I just got this two days ago, so I can't report on how sturdy it might be.
