Have used plaster of Paris before to make sculptures from silicone moulds so thought it would be interesting to try this resin product instead.You don't get an awful lot in the containers but there's enough to make some smaller items and was more than I would need.The instructions were clear and once set the product sets quite firm and not powdery black plaster of Paris can. I can see myself using this for casting scenery or bases for my miniatures.Add to 23 pounds delivered this isn't cheap but is good fun for small projects.

This item is very easy to mix, it has a very smooth finish to it, the colour is pure white and is very good value for what you get it does the job for me it is a runny consistencey but whe it cures its as hard as a rock, takes 30mins to cure love this

I have done quite a bit of Resin work and was keen to try this Eco Resin Casting Powder.I was a bit confused when all I received was a big plastic tub, but after I finally got into it, I could see that it contained all the equipment I would need (apart from a mould of course).Mixing is simple and clean, you just add water to the powder in the correct ratio (which is provided in the instructions) and mix for 3 minutes. You can then add pigments if you wish and these come in small paint pots. I put half a pot of the red in my 100 gram to 30 grams of water mix and achieved a nice pink shade. It took quite a bit of stirring to get the pigment to mix and it still looked grainy, but I was afraid that the resin would start to set so poured it into two coaster moulds.It was set but a bit powdery when I checked half an hour later so demoulded them and left them overnight.The next day they were dry, smooth and non powdery.I had hoped to varnish them with the provided varnish, but opening the bottle just proved impossible despite using every opener I had in the house, so left them as they were. Had I been able to varnish them, it would have been a nice touch if a paint brush had been provided.This type of casting is so much easier and less messy than traditional resin casting and also cheaper at the current price of £23.99.I will certainly be making more things from this Eco Resin and will add some of my potent liquid pigments to see if I can get a more vibrant colour.

Habe heute gleich nach der Lieferung angefangen zu gießen.Ich bin total begeistert, es härtet schnell, bricht nicht und es bilden sich keine Blasen. Bin rundum zufrieden.Werd wohl bald wieder nachbestellen müssen.

Ich habe das **Eco Resin Casting Powder** ausprobiert und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden! Das Set beinhaltet 1,4 kg Gießpulver, sowie sechs Pigmente und weiters Zubehör wie bspw. HolzstäbchenDie Anwendung ist kinderleicht: Man mischt das Pulver einfach mit Wasser im Verhältnis 3:1, rührt gut um und fügt dann die gewünschten Pigmente hinzu. Kann natürlich auch ohne Farbe gemacht werden.Ich hatte bis jetzt schon einiges an verschiedenenm Giespulver ausprobiert. Aber keines davon war so schnell wie dieses komplett trocken und leicht entformbar.Die Ergebnisse können sich sehen lassen - ohne Bläschen! Da können sich manch andere Hersteller eine schreiben von abschneiden.Das Gießpulver härtet zügig aus, weshalb man alles gut vorbereiten sollte, bevor man loslegt und mit den Farben muss man experimentieren - um einen satten Farbton zu erhalten muss man fast die komplette Farbe (aus beiden Farbpaletten) benutzen. Kommt zusätzlich noch auf die Größe der jeweiligen Form an.Das Eco Gießpulver ist meiner Meinung perfekt für Anfänger geeignet, da bei diesem Pulver die Bläschenbildung absolut minimal bis gar nicht vorhanden ist.
