I was hopeful for this, but it's a let-down.The PCB itself is fine, as are the terminal blocks (although more on them in a minute). However, the kit doesn't seem to know what it is! On the PCB, and the title of the listing, it's referred to as a screw terminal board. In the listing text, it says, "Compared with other products, the wiring terminals in this product do not need screws, which are simple to operate and directly inserted into the terminal block". So which one is it? Well, it's true, there aren't any screws. But it includes a little screwdriver for pushing down on the retaining lever on the terminals, because it's genuinely NOT simple to operate. The now-mangled jumper wire pins will back me up on that. The selection of the terminal blocks used is mad, basically. Not really suitable for the task at hand. You can only use wires terminated in very rigid pins or ferules, and even then sometimes you need to use the little screwdriver to loosen the jaws of the terminal to get it in. Some solid core wire works. Stranded, you're out of luck. Even with it tinned to hold all in place, you're not likely to get it into the terminal. (But with good old screw terminals, you would. Just saying.) On the upside, the insane grip provided means that the wires won't come out - whether or not you need that level of security on an experimenting board is up to you.The nice PCB has silkscreened labels for where the terminals go through, but the block hardware covers them up. For a commercial product, that's not great. (They're also only on the top side, so you can't flip over to check.) You have to rely on the provided stickers, and have to remember which ones to stick where. So we end up with a screwless terminal board that needs a screwdriver, a limited selection of wires that can be used with it, hardware that obscures the labelling of what it's for and a price tag roughly three times what it should be, given you have to assemble it yourself. I can't recommend it; the fact that it does actually sort of kind of work (sort of) is the only thing stopping it from getting a single star.

The Positives> Well-made PCB: The main circuit board (PCB) feels sturdy and well-constructed.> Easy wire connection: I appreciate the ability to simply push wires into the block for secure connections.> Effortless removal: Removing wires is equally simple, requiring only a press down with a small flat-tipped screwdriver blade (supplied) then pull the wire out.> User-friendly: The block is straightforward to use and operate, even for beginners.> Complete kit: The package includes everything needed for mounting onto an Arduino MEGA-2560.The So-So's= This product requires soldering and assembly, which might not be suitable for everyone. The VerdictThe Treedix Screw Terminal Block is a high-quality expansion board that simplifies wiring connections for Arduino projects. The board itself is well-made, the connections are secure and easy to manage, and the kit includes everything needed for installation. However, it's important to note that this product requires soldering and assembly, so some DIY skills are necessary. If you're comfortable with soldering and looking for an easy-to-use solution for connecting wires to your Arduino project, the Treedix Screw Terminal Block is a solid option.
