a good holder, much more reliable than the type that utilizes a woodworker's clamp.

Err - well - it holds our thick Grover triangle quite well. The string is short/thick enough that it also prevents the triangle from rotating when attached, which is always a good thing.The metal "L" holder was, unfortunately, just slightly too small to be used in any of our yamaha clamps, so actually attaching it to a stand / trap table may prove more difficult than you are expecting! We had to fabricate our own holder for it (wrapped around the "L" to give the clamps something to grip)...

First off, if you are going by the measurments in Amazon's product details section you are going to think you are getting huge 14 x 38.5 x 17 inches triangle holder. The measurement is actually for the oversize packaging it is sold in. In realty the triangle holder is more like 6 x 4 inches. That said, this holder does it's job, and much easier than trying to drill holes in L-rods.
