Very quick and easy to use.Scanning the QR code in the manual got to the app very quickly and easily.The app is very simple, but does what you need it to - swapping negatives over to colour, and giving you a load of straightforward tools to get the desired colour balance.I can imagine someone with a decent Adoboe Photoshop or similar setup might find all these digital tools unnecessary (potentially even cumbersome if it's interferring with the raw picture in a destructive way) though, which removes a major selling point of the product.As a way of digitising images for later manipulation, it works fine.Even taking no precautions at all to mitigate ambient day-light, and spending next to no time at all adjusting any of the colour settings, we managed to get equal image quality from the negatives as were found in the developed photos. That said, these were amateur photos taken with a disposable camera, so it is hard to say how much detail a more sophisticated setup might've seen lost.The stand is sturdy and well designed - operating the smart phone didn't cause any jiggling that might disrupt its operation, and that is without using the included stick-on magnets, etc to really lock the setup down. It packs away neatly for subsequent use.Even on 2xAA batteries, the internal light was just the right brightness and whiteness for the job.It's a cut above near-identical solutions for digitising slides, but as those can be less than half the cost - it is hard to say how well it represents value for money - especially for people who are already using a similar scaffold for digitising films in conjunction with more sophisticated tools, like Photoshop.

Der Scanner kommt in einer stabilen Schachtel, bringt auch 2x AA-Batterien mit und etwas Papier, sowie niedrigere Abstandhalter (wenn die Kamera den Abstand nicht verarbeiten kann).Der "Scanner" ist eigentlich nur eine unbewegliche, kaltweiß leuchtende LED hinter einer diffusen Scheibe, die ein gleichmäßiges Licht durch ein Dia oder Filmstreifen schickt. Sowas wie ein Kopierer oder Flachbettscanner macht, ist hier nicht eingebaut!Das eigene Smartphone erstellt ein Foto und schon ist das Bild "gescannt".In der Vorbereitung wird das Gerät zunächst zerlegt - das Dach, wo das Handy aufgelegt wird, nimmt man von der Hälfte herunter, die Batterien und LED beherbergen. Der untere Teil hat eine Gummisohle, die vermeidet, daß sich der Aufbau wegbewegt.Die andere Hälfte, also das Dach, hat drei Wände, die herausgeklappt werden (diese Teile sind durchnummeriert, damit man sie in der richtigen Weise wieder zusammenlegen kann - sonst passt es nicht). Links und rechts eine Wand, die dann in den Boden eingesteckt werden, und eine Querwand, die die anderen Wände stabilisiert. So ist das Bedienen des Smartphones möglich, ohne daß das Bild verwackelt.Beim Aufbau des Dachs gibt es einen kleinen Pfeil, der in Richtung Lichtfläche zeigen soll. Beim Zusammenlegen muss der Deckel so herum auf die untere Hälfte gesetzt werden, daß der Pfeil zur Seite mit dem Logo zeigt. Anders herum passt es nicht gut zusammen.Ist dann der "Scanner" aufgestellt, legen wir ein Dia auf die Einfassung, das dann durchleuchtet wird, wenn die LED natürlich eingeschaltet ist.Das Handy macht dann mit der eigenen Kamera-App die Fotos (es gibt auch eine App im Store, aber die hat noch einige Bugs - als ich es versucht habe, konnte das nachbearbeitete Foto dann nicht gespeichert werden, was ja schon wichtig ist [Rezensionen im Store lesen]; ich habe die App dann wieder gelöscht).Damit das Handy sicher auf dem Dach liegen bleibt, ist es auch mit einer Gummimatte bedeckt - zusätzlich liegt ein Metallplättchen bei, daß bei Handys mit dieser Ausstattung dafür sogen kann, daß es magnetisch fixiert wird.Ich habe kein so ein Handy, also liegt meins einfach auf dem Dach mit den Kameras nach unten gerichtet.Die Qualität der Fotos, die meine Kamera macht, sind auch vom Umgebungslicht abhängig. Laut Anleitung ermöglicht ein dunkler Raum dem Handy bessere Fotos. Meine waren mit LED-Umgebungslicht zu blaustichig geworden.Für das Ergebnis kann der "Scanner-Aufbau" ja nur wenig - die Lichtfarbe und Helligkeit lassen sich nicht einstellen, auch wenn die Anleitung in den technischen Daten das vermuten lässt, wenn sie dort einen Bereich für u.a. die Leuchtstärke und Farbtemperatur angibt.Die Wiederholfrequenz der Beleuchtung und der Vorschaubildaufbau meiner Handykamera konkurrieren manchmal miteinander - es flimmert dann leicht; aber ich habe es auch nicht in einem dunklen Raum ausprobiert, wie die Anleitung es empfiehlt.Es wäre schön, wenn es einen Akku hätte statt der Batterien.Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Produkt, das ich empfehlen kann.

Non è uno scanner tradizionale come quelli che si usavano una volta. Illumina semplicemente la pellicola, e poi devi usare la fotocamera del tuo smartphone per catturare l’immagine, che viene successivamente convertita tramite l’app dedicata. Se hai un telefono con più fotocamere o con l’obiettivo non centrato, può essere un pò macchinoso, l’immagine salta da una lente all’altra e diventa difficile ottenere una scansione decente. I risultati sono altalenanti e richiedono un sacco di aggiustamenti per arrivare a una qualità accettabile. Per un lavoro serio di archiviazione questo prodotto è più un compromesso che una soluzione valida.

Idea molto carina ed economica, rispetto a scanner dedicati, per scansionare e riportare in vita i vecchi negativi da 35mm (per intenderci, nelle buste contenenti le nostre vecchie foto, troverete in una tasca dei pezzetti di plastica marroni. Quelli sono i negativi, e contengono tutti i dettagli dei vostri ricordi. La foto in se per se è solo una riproduzione.)La fattura è buona, buone finiture antiscivolo, plastiche solide e men rifinite, retroilluminazione costante e senza buchi di luce.Tutto perfetto direte, e allora perchè solo due stelle?Perchè questo accessorio è inutilizzabile con la maggior parte degli smartphone moderni, specialmente quelli di fascia alta. Da quando è presente la camera grandangolare sugli smartphone, i produttori hanno affidato a questa camera la funzione macro. Ne consegue che non riuscirete mai a mettere a fuoco una sola pellicola da nessuna camera oltre quella grandangolare, con il risultato di vedere il negativo molto piccolo.È un accessorio che sarebbe andato bene, a mio avviso, fino all'iPhone XS (uscito ben 7 anni fa), non oltre.Do una stella aggiuntiva solo per la qualità costruttiva.Se non avete un vecchio telefono a camera singola, statene alla larga, non funzionerà quasi certamente.

El producto viene embalado de forma exquisita, como suele ser habitual en los productos de Klim cuidando mucho la presentación y el contenido: el soporte plegado, unas patas más cortas para poder adaptar a otros tipos de lentes de móvil con distancias mas cortas, pilas, manuales, gamuza de limpieza para lentes y una chapa adhesiva metálica para colocar en el móvil y evitar que se desplace accidentalmente, pues la plataforma del gadget donde se apoya es magnética.La aplicación se instala fácilmente, pero si quieres la versión con IA para procesar las imágenes tienes que pagar casi 12€ por semana o casi 34€ al mes, que será muy buena (que no lo sé), pero me parece exageradamente caro el servicio y para eso prefiero pagar una suscripción mensual de Lightroom y Photoshop, que también incorporan funciones de IA si tienes un equipo con procesadores neuronales como el mío. La versión que instala es muy básica y no me merece la pena, con la aplicación nativa de la cámara del teléfono me vale para escanear todo seguido y luego ir editando en el PC.Como digo en el título, la idea es buena: usar tu propio móvil para escanear negativos y diapositivas, pero faltan detalles como que el móvil cuesta mucho de colocar correctamente para escanearlo y hacerlo de forma recta y, por mucho magnetismo que le pongas, se mueve fácilmente al mínimo roce. Una guía ajustable que permitiese sujetar el teléfono de forma recta hubiese sido mejor idea que el magnetismo para este tipo de trabajo.Una cosa que si me gusta es que el diseño se ha hecho para que sea plegable y portable, aunque la forma de encajar la base y la parte superior se abre al llevarlo en un bolso si no va bien sujeto en un bolsillo o con una cinta uniendo las dos partes.Al final, el resultado depende de la calidad de la cámara de tu terminal y tu paciencia. Además, la distancia de enfoque que permita tu terminal te puede impedir hacer buenas capturas aun usando las patas cortas.No obstante, con mucha paciencia y buenas herramientas (terminal y software adicional) puedes llegar a hacer un trabajo decente, no profesional, pero decente y puedes mantener a salvo tus recuerdos y todo por un precio bastante razonable.

I found a strip of negatives from an old holiday to Vegas and wondered what they were like as I have no idea where the actual photos are, plus I have a load of negatives from childhood or other holidays that I'd like to have reprinted but wanted to be able to see first before spending money on having them reproduced, so this KLIM K2 mobile film scanner seemed like a great idea.I scanned the Apple version of the QR code from the basic instruction manual via my iPad, downloaded the app and then balanced the iPad on the stand over the light box which is operated using 2 x AA batteries which were supplied with the kit in a white box.It's a bit fiddly to line up the negative in the light box feed and then you have to click on 'negative' each time on the app or it's just a green-based picture. It also lost the photo a few times before saving them into my photos after rescanning them.I did try taking a photo of my negatives on the light box but without using the app, just to see if a standard light box would work but it just shows a negative, you do need the app to 'translate' the image.The price has come down since I ordered it so it's much better value now. It's not perfect by any means but it is a way of saving old photos and you can pay extra for AI to digitally restore, either with the programme they promote or shopping around for a cheaper alternative.BUT it's also wonderful seeing old photos of loved ones again, plus bringing back all those holiday memories. And it would be a fun activity for the family or an art project – and a great gift idea, 4*

Le produit est en deux parties : un appareil permettant de faire dérouler la pellicule, d'éclairer les photos par derrière, de poser un téléphone à la bonne distance pour prendre des photos ; et une application pour ce téléphone qui va inverser le négatif et permettre à l'utilisateur de couper la photo au bon cadrage et à labonne taille.Le fonctionnement est le suivant :- on met les piles (fournies) dans le socle- on allume les LED sous le dépoli qui est bien fait- on glisse le négatif (en rouleau ou découpé) dans les guides qui le maintiennent contre le dépoli- on pose sont téléphone sur le plateau, c'est lui qui va en réalité scanner- on lance l'appli et on traite chaque photo : prise de vue, cadrage, retraitement numérique.Le résultat est un ensemble de photos numériques sur le téléphone.L'appareil est bien, facile à monter / démonter / ranger, il éclaire bien le négatif, ion peut faire glisser (manuellement) ce négatif dans les guides. Le support du téléphone va très bien aussi, testé avec un "grand" téléphone (S24 Ultra), pas de souci de stabilité, le plateau est bien fait et le téléphone ne bouge pas. Il y a des adaptateurs supplémentaires pour changer la hauteur du plateau mais je ne m'en suis pas servi.Par contre, l'appli est mal conçue. Certes elle offre les fonctionnalités attendues : inversion du négatif, tourner l'image légèrement, retailler, agrandir, etc. Hélas, deux problèmes qui font perdre du temps et qui sont désagréables :1) l'inversion du négatif n'est faite qu'après avoir pris la photo. Comme la luminosité est assez forte, on ne voit pas grand chose sur l'écran du téléphone et il faut souvent regarder directement le négatif pour voir s'il est bien positionné. Ce serait beaucoup mieux de montrer en live le positif.2) les réglages (format, normalement 3:2, niveau d'agrandissement) sont à refaire à chaque photo, l'appli oublie le réglage précédent qui est pourtant à 95% correct sur une série de photos. Il resterait bien sûr à retoucher un peu le cadrage car chaque photo peut être positionnée un peu différemment, mais le format et l'agrandissement ne changent pas !Au global, attention, même si l"appareil est bien fait, il ne fait que fournir l'éclairage et un support pour le téléphone, la qualité du résultat va dépendre beaucoup de l'état du négatif (surtout s'il est ancien) et de la qualité de l'optique du téléphone (et aussi évidemment de la photo elle même, dont le film!). Il ne faut pas du tout s'attendre à avoir la qualité d'une photo numérique faire avec du bon matériel.
