Ottime catene con uno spessore superiore alla media che le rendono più resistenti di altre.Il montaggio è piuttosto semplice ed avviene seguendo pochi semplici passaggi.In ogni caso prima di partire, come raccomandato da tutti i produttori,ricordatevi di provare a montare almeno una catena per memorizzate i passaggi.Periodicamente, questa prova va ripetuta perché, seppur non sia complicatissimo, ci si dimentica!ed al freddo, mentre nevica ed è buio è molto difficile riuscire.La confezione che le contiene è in plastica resistente e grazie al velcro si aggancia alla tappezzeria del bauleevitando che la scatola gironzoli nel bagagliaio durante le curve.Dopo averle usate e poi smontate bisogna ricordarsi di farle asciugare bene prima di riporle.Spero di essere stato utile.

Il prodotto è quello ordinato, delle buone catene da neve. Nota di demerito per la spedizione. Il corriere, nonostante in casa ci fossero persone, ha lasciato il prodotto all’ingresso sulla strada pubblica, con il rischio che venissero rubate.

La seconda cosa è inserire nella scatola delle catene un paio di guanti adeguati, e - volendo - due vecchie maniche recuperate da una vecchia tuta, da calzare sopra le maniche del vestito che si indossa per non sporcarlo.Il codice della strada impone che come termina la neve debbano essere smontate, anche se dopo due km. dovranno essere rimontate.###Fortunatamente vanno bene. Tuttavia, nel mio caso con pneumatici ribassati (45), le maglie della catena vanno a contatto col cerchio, con rischio di abrasione o danneggiamento dello stesso.Il modello è di tipo a "Y" - il miglior profilo per le catene ordinarie. Da 12mm, ovvero con anello più grande e maggiore spessore della maglia. In acciaio zincato, più resistente, più duraturo, più difficile da rompersi, più pesanti delle catene da 9mm.Sono a tensione manuale, ovvero dopo averle montate e percorso un chilometro circa dopo averle assestate, vanno necessariamente serrate ulteriormente.---La comodità assoluta si ha con un costoso treno di ruote di ricambio che richiede spazio e fatica per la sostituzione o costi di rimessaggio/smontaggio/montaggio presso un gommista (ca 70/80 €/anno).Poi ci sono dispositivi antislittamento migliori, più rapidi da montare, quindi costosi o molto costosi. Sulla neve al freddo è più impegnativo, più lungo e più doloroso: indispensabili i guanti e qualche prova preventiva da considerarsi come allenamento per essere preparati nel momento più difficile.Lo spessore e la facilità di montaggio mi fa pensare di aver fatto un buon acquisto.Arrivate nuove, con scatola di grandezza adeguata, istruzioni e un paio di (inutili) guanti da supermercato. Cmq meglio che niente.Nella scatola sono inserite dopo aver fatto fare al grande cerchio un "8" ripiegato su sé stesso con le maglie riposte al centro. Come sopra, in garage facili da estrarre e da reinserire dalla/nella scatola, a parte le maglie sicuramente imbrogliate o che imbroglieremo...Ma sulla neve non viene voglia di fare giochi di prestigio e si butteranno quasi certamente nel bagagliaio sporche e bagnate cosí come sono :-)DA LAVARSI DOPO L'USO E ASCIUGARE PER NON FARLE ARRUGINIRE . . .Tre stelle anziché cinque come meriterebbero, per il prezzo eccessivo - doppio delle 9mm. Più che doppio di catene economiche a tensionamento automatico.

Per le catene da neve questo marchio è una garanzia, prese su Amazon si ha un buon prezzo (se acquistate in offerta).Credo che l'unica cosa da dire, sia di fare attenzione alla propria taglia perciò confrontate i dati del Vostra ruota (passate magari sul sito ufficiale del produttore per capire quale sia quella che vi serve) e poi potete acquistare qui.

These chains are fantastic. I love them. I have a 2012 Prius with that damned traction control system that shuts down power to your tires when you need it the most, like when you're in snow and you need power. So, even though I've got great snow tires on, as soon as it snows, my car is as good as useless. I live at the top of a mountain and getting home on a snow day is a nightmare that often involves parking the car and hiking back home. I bought these chains, I put them on during one of these snow days, and I could not believe the difference they made. I'm not kidding you folk's when I tell you that these chains turned my Prius into a 4 x 4. I climbed that mountain as if there was no snow on the ground, and it was already a foot deep. I even accelerated and that traction control did not come on once. I love these chains, and I can't say that enough.I'd like to share a tip for putting them on. When you take them out of the case, hold them in front of you and make sure that there are no kinks in the chain. If there are just spin the top of the kinked section around a couple of times until they are all straight. Then, make sure that you slide that yellow end of the cable behind the tire. I just push it through until I can see it. Then I pull it up to the top of the tire on a diagonal angle. Then I bring the other end of the cable up on a diagonal as well and I connect the two section. At this point, the chains are not hanging right, but they are connected. Next I connect the side chain, it's the one with the red hooks. After that, the chains are still not over the tires properly so you just start pulling on them till they are. As you're doing this try to get all the hardware pieces, colored in red, out to where you can work with them, they are probably going to be somewhere behind the tire. Once you have that done, just connect everything up, like the back of the case shows you. I found the instructions on the back of the case better than the booklet that they give you. This sounds like a lot to do, but it's really easy. The first time I did it it took me about 10 minutes total. After that it got a lot faster to do. I also do one more thing. I have a vice clamp, 24" that you normally use to hold pieces of wood together. I use that thing to pull the top and bottom sections of the chains together, so that I don't have to use brute force to get the tension chain on as tight as it can go. The clamp does the job for me, I just keep squeezing the trigger on it till it pulls those chain sections up to where it's easy to hook the tension chains link, right behind the red link on the side chain. Doing it this way ensures that I don't have to stop in a 100 feet and retention the chains.Again, I'm not kidding, when I say these are the best set of chains I've ever worked with. I'm amazed!

Bought this for tires size 215/50/R17. Had to use them twice and this is what I observed.The chains fit very snug but not to an extend where it is hard to install. On the opposite actually, love the fact that I don't need to move the car to get them on the tires and the second time I had them installed in less than 5 min. Used them on plowed logging roads and they performed well, though might go with something bigger than 12mm next time. For paved roads these are more than enough IMO.
