once registerd for free online account to use design software it is easy to use designed my own labels for some home made wine 🍷

Wasted an entire pack of these as it turns out black inkjet ink won't stick to these labels (Canon ink from a Pixma series printer anyway). It just wipes off when dry. Even if you try using clear spray lacquer, it will still smudge.£13 later, new pack arrived and set the printer settings to use "gloss photo paper", which switches off the black ink cartridge and uses the colour ink cartridge to overprint colours to make "near black" instead. Then the labels are great.Irritating this is not flagged anywhere seeing as it's such a fundamental requirement.When ordering the new pack, I did look at other cheaper options but they all seemed to have the labels butting up against each other on the sheet, so your design / printer alignment had to be spot on otherwise the labels print slightly on the adjacent label. The alternatives were half the price though. In hindsight, it's maybe an option to buy the cheaper labels and trim them manually to create the bleed area. Just a thought.But in summary...• Set your printer to "glossy" before printing.• Expensive• There are cheaper ones but they come with hassle attached• The separated label format is possibly worth the extra costWould be 5 stars drops a star due to expense and lack of instruction about the black ink issue.
