My dog is a "digger" and ruins the cover. The bed itself is just fine. But, her digging ruins the cover. It's a big money saver to be able to just buy the cover for the existing bed. Love it!

Well-made, and probably most durable version, but, in side by side use, my dog always chose furhaven soft covers over water resistant liner to Oxford cloth alone.

April 2024 UPDATE: After about 7 months, and many washes, the bottom of the zipper's stitching came loose. That, of course, broke the zipper apart. I was able to get the zipper's slider back onto its plastic track. Then, I hand-sewed the fabric back into place at the bottom of the zipper. That re-aligned the track, and the zipper worked again. It's been a month since that fix. The cover's still holding up, and did fine in my washing machine (delicate cycle) and dryer (low heat). So, it's had one easily fixable issue, and is still going strong 8 months later.------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM SEPT 2023: -------------I got Furhaven's replacement cover, because a different brand's bed cover became damaged. When that happened, then I still had an undamaged dog bed mattress, which of course needed a new cover. Furhaven's replacement cover was all that would fit it. It's a little big for the mattress by a couple of inches. However, while it's not a tight fit, it still works fine enough: better too big than too small! My dogs are clearly happy with it. It also went through the wash, on the delicate cycle, just fine.
