Colis conforme et bien reçu, il faute juste bien confirmé avec vous livreurs que la livraison se fait bat dut bâtiment ou bien au boite au lettre, ces pas a 100 mètre du bâtiment je me suis allé récupéré jusqu'à la route alors que il ma appelé et il ma dit je suis en bat .

After having an oil change at a independent Audi/VW/BMW specialist garage. I was advised to remove the Silica bag from the expansion tank, because of the risk of the bag splitting and the contents clogging up the heater matrix system(which i didn't even know about, so fair play to them saying about that!). They said it could be pulled out with a pair of long nosed pliers!. Unfortunately after unscrewing the cap and draining some coolant out i saw no bag inside which meant it is between the double skinned layer of the tank at the front!. So i ordered this tank as it needed to be replaced.So this morning i pumped the coolant out with the aid of a old morrisons hand wash container(the pump bit) into a cut in half plastic 4 pint milk bottle(both worked perfect for the job!!!) and took off the old expansion tank with the aid of a pair of pliers for the clips and a push with a screwdriver to push off the hoses. Put the new one on in the reverse order and refilled the tank with the coolant i took out.BUT.....................A couple of tips for the new one going on!!!!1. After reconnecting the bottom hose and the clip, make sure you put the pointy bits at the bottom of the tank into the hole first before you push the 2 plastic brackets into place. Sounds obvious but i didn't do it and the brackets kept jumping out, DOH2. On mine the electrical connector plug for the low coolant sensor WOULD NOT go in all the way. I spent ages trying to figure out why, with a lot of hard pushing and looking it just wouldn't do it. In the end i figured out that the top of the pins in the tank part where to squared off, which was stopping it sliding them into the connector. To get around this i got a file and made the ends into more of a edge. After doing so the connector clipped in all the way. PHEWAfter a test drive to get the temp up, i can confirm everything is AOK. And now even more so, NOT having this Silica bag ready to open up into the systemRecommended for a Audi A3 8v 5*****

Direct replacement for OEM tank in VW Group cars. Looks exactly the same, has hose attaching points and mounting points in exactly the same places as OEM product. This one has no Silica bag inside which are known to open and silica granules released cause heater matrix blockage and no heating in your car as a result. There are 2 solutions to this problemIf your car has "Mit silikant" printed on the tank you can1) replace it for one without silica bag inside before it fails like I did, the downside is that you have to change coolant every 4-5years2) when the bag splits open and releases granules resulting in blockage you can pay hundreds of £ for either flushing blocked heater matrix or replacing it.I've installed it the day I got it and I have absolutely no problems with it.
