Purchased the bulb on the 1st of May by the 2nd August no longer works.Pretty poor quality if not lasting longer than 12 weeks.Previously used red lamps and lasted easily12 months or more.Not great if have to replace every 12 weeks.

The screw threaded infrared bulb works perfectly and the amount of heat which it outputs from such a comparatively small device, is excellent.However, someone in Amazon's packaging department needs a serious talking-to. This product is glass and is exceedingly fragile and the box packaging shows clearly what the item is. The retail packaging is extremely thin cardboard and is basically designed to be put in a shop's window or shelf, it is absolutely not designed for posting. So imagine my surprise that Amazon had simply afixed a sticky address label to the product's box and then dispatched it for international delivery. Utterly bonkers!

Used throughout winter to heat my rabbits house (large wooden childrens playhouse) and always have a spare in case, but these last well.
