With the British summer in full swing we can expect many a downpour, in fact, as I type this it is brewing up a storm outside. So, with the British summer being what it is, a waterproof jacket is something you might want to invest in.Now, I use an umbrella, but my wife can take them or leave them, so I grabbed one of these Freiesoldaten jackets for her.It arrived in a teeny tiny outer pouch which, when unfolded was full of creases. In fact, two weeks later it still has creases, but that's how it is when things are stored/delivered like this.Anyway, I went a size up for her, which was just as well, as if I ordered to size this simply would not have fitted with clothes on underneath.The jacket looks cheap and feel cheap, but it does the job of keeping your clothes dry.All in all, this is a decent waterproof despite its looks and feel.

I went for a larger size to make sure I could wear this over jumpers etc as well as lighter clothes. I would say it comes up small and is worth sizing up at least one size. The sleeves are elasticated and are tight so would stop rain running up your sleeve. Good length and nice a lightweight. Comes in a nice little bag too.
