The Brooks B17 saddles have been around for decades for good reason - they work ! They are durable - lasting over 16 years on one of my bikes, and 12 on another before it was stolen. They are comfortable - conforming to your shape as the leather "beds in". Most new road bicycles are sold with narrow saddles that aren't wide enough to support your hip bones (but are smaller and cheaper to make). Not a problem if you are short in stature and/or a boy-racer who spends most of his ride time putting weight into the pedals rather than the seat. They are not cheap, and not widely stocked, but definitely worth every cent.

Tras una mala experiencia de cicloturismo de 735 km. Termine bien molido de mi colita. Llevo usándolo aprox. 4 semanas entre 60 y 80 km. X semana. Es increíble la comodidad y adaptación a mis formas, cero molestias, he mejorado mi rendimiento, creo estar listo para la siguiente aventura de varios días pedaleando, gracias Brooks!

Gran prodotto per il prezzo.. un must per chi ama lo stile vintage e non.Importante è ingrassare la sella nei primi mesi

Fitted these to all my bikes, this one was a present for my daughter, she says it was comfortable from day one. Yes, they do need a little more looking after than a plastic saddle, but it is well worth the effort.

come si legge nelle altre recensioni online, la sella è di una fattura splendida. Molto elegante, ben rifinita, cura nella confezione. la chiave per tirare la selle è presente nella confezione

Il classico che non tradisce. Sella super, spedizione puntualissima. Peccato non inclusa la chiavetta per regolare la tensione della sella come normalmente la fornisce Brooks. Next time specificatelo nella descrizione.

Un must nel mondo del ciclismo.Cercavo la sella giusta per la ristrutturazione della mia vecchia bici da corsa Bianchi Record 745 e questa era quella giusta.Spedizione rapita , ma l'oggetto è arrivato senza la scatola originale e questo non era indicato da nessuna parte.Una stella in meno per questo motivo.

Hatte bei Touren meist ab 10km Schmerzen auf den "Sitzknochen" am Gesäß und vorne ein Taubheitsgefühl die selbst eine Assos Hose nicht ganz wegnehmen konnte. Auch mit einer Suntour gefederten Sattelstütze waren die Schmerzen nicht wegzubringen.Hatte einen Fizik Sattel einen Corratec und einen Selle Sattel ausprobiert und war mit keinem Zufrieden.Nach meiner Recherche habe ich mir einen Brooks B17 Standard Sattel bestellt. Hatte zuerst bedenken bezüglich der Einfahrzeit und ob nicht die Imperial Variante mit dem Ausschnitt in der Mitte besser wäre.Ich habe den Sattel nach erhalt mit Lederfett auf ober und Unterseite eingelassen und bin ca. eine Woche später die erste Runde mit 138km gefahren. (Brooks Sattel+Assos T100 Hose) Keine Schmerzen mehr!Die Zweite ausfahrt war zwei Wochen später mit ca 70km. (ohne gefederte Sattelstütze) Auch ohne Probleme!Dritte ausfahrt mit dem Sattel 165km.(ohne gefederte Sattelstütze) Keine Schmerzen am Gesäß! :-)Der Sattel war bei der ersten Ausfahrt auf einem Tourenrad mit Lenkererhöhung und für die weiteren Touren auf einem Simplon Grid F1 montiert. Ich bin in Oberlenkposition mit geradem Lenker gefahren.Dadurch dass das Leder in der Mitte bei Belastung nachgibt gab es auch ohne die Ausnehmung in der Mitte kein Problem.Schmerzen beim einfahren gab es auch keine!DER SATTEL IST DEFINITIV DAS BESTE WAS ICH ALS TOURENFAHRER EMPFEHLEN KANN! (Nach einer Assos Hose;-)
