I wanted the Fly 103 Vintage - but these had wrong photo- but having spoken to Blackstar they are the exact same except cosmetics (the acoustic label peels off) and were cheaper so result.Great when I don't want to fire up the whole guitar rack and sit either side of my computer and get surprsingly good tones - a tiny amp not a toy.And can chuck in a guitar case to take with you to mates etc.or move out of the studio.If you have a Fly of any flavour be strange not to get one of these extensions.

I got the amp free (well sort of) with a subscription to Guitarist Magazine which made the mag half price compared to buying it monthly when I visit the supermarket. So with a saving all round I thought I would buy the extension speaker and the power supply (it also works on 6 X AA batteries) The amp I have is for electric guitars but I ordered this accoustic ext. speaker by mistake when I saw it was exactly the same colour (Vintage) as my amp. When I realised my mistake when it arrived and before I opened the box I suspected it probably doesn't make much difference which speaker I have, because the amp makes the sound right ! So I emailed Blackstar and asked. Got a nice email back saying "the voicings are dictated by the amplifier so the extension speakers are interchangeable". So I kept it and couldn't be more pleased. This amp and speaker gives out a sound which would be pleasing from a much bigger practice amp. Don't get me wrong, it is what it is a small practice amp. Not as versatile as my Fender Mustang but every bit as versatile as my Marshall practice amp with the added benefit of holding sound quality at really quite low volumes, even bedroom volumes. Really unexpected sound quality. Excellent and all three, the amp, the extension speaker and the power supply are fully recommended.

The sound quality is outstanding! Never did I think something so small could sound so amazing. More than please. Even ordered the additional speaker to complete the pair. I now use this with my acoustic more than a full size amp. Volume is more than what is needed to play for a gew friends or enjoy yourself. Not sure how I played without it before.
