This balance bike nearly ticks all the right boxes, but ours had a slight defect in the moulding near the front forks and a grubby mark on the injection moulding on the forks themselves. This rubbed off with a bit of water and the moulding defect is not that bad and only noticeable up close, but it was enough to not quite hit the five star barrier for me.The rest of the bike we really like! It is not too heavy and the way it folds up makes it so much easier to store as well as carry back from the park if the little one is knackered and not wanting to balance their way home. The seat also goes low enough for our two and a half year old daughter to ride it and the bike is big enough that it should last here for a good few years. Now this is quite a rare thing in the world of balance bikes and with our first child we ended up with three as they were all too big for him when we ordered them and had to try again in a smaller size.No brakes which in my mind is not really a deal breaker as our son didn’t work out what they were for until he was five anyway and the seat has a quick release bolt on it so it can be adjusted on the fly if your sharing it with a friend. Possibly a tad pricey for a plastic fantastic bike but it ticks all the boxes i was looking for and although the slight defect is enough not to get the full five stars we still really like it.
