Vi ci vorrà un po’ per imparare ad usarlo bene, va studiato.Ma poi vi ritroverete con macchina di una potenza notevole.Ho usato l’ONE per un paio d’anni e poi sono passato al Live II per sfruttare le uscite in più, utilissime dal vivo.Devo dire che oltre a questo il Live da una sensazione di qualità nettamente superiore. I pad sono più grandi e distanziati e inaspettatamente mi son ritrovato ad amare anche le casse e le batterie, adesso sono un compositore anche da divano, eheh.La batteria oltre alla praticità aiuta anche ad ovviare ai problemi di stabilità di corrente.L’MPC è sensibile e vuole un buon impianto elettrico. Ogni tanto con il ONE dal vivo ho avuto problemi (tipo che impazziva in vari modi) e dopo varie prove mi son convinto che il problema fosse quello.Il Live ha batterie anche belle durature e i concerti li faccio molto agilmente a batteria (ne potrei fare anche due per quello che durano), e per adesso non ho mai avuto problemi.L’unica cosa che mi butta fuori di testa è che non abbiano incluso due pulsanti mega utili che invece sono sul ONE. Vabbè mi ci abituerò.Amo questa macchina!

I came from rack-mount samplers. So the MPC is a steep initial learning curve if you’re new to pads, like me. But learning is made easier because it's an instrument that you will want to pick up and use. It’s tactile. There is a gorgeous rubberised coating across the top of the MPC, which means it’s not cold to the touch. Great design. The speaker is good too, with excellent punch.The benefit of this instrument is it’s very flexible. Can be part of a small studio set-up, can match with a DAW, can stand alone, can be used as a sketch pad or for serious work, and if you’re a working producer it can travel with you. It’s got heft, but still portable.When you buy one, just one tip for the impatient user: closely follow the battery charging protocol for first use and give it a long life. Read the basic instructions. Then get MPC Bible if you need (and wait till MPC3 software version if you can hold on).I would ideally like to see Roger Linn's signature on MPCs - even if it’s just for Special Editions - and his contribution. His name not being on the front plate is the one thing that disappoints at this price point. But in every other way, it’s well designed and made. I have no buyer's remorse, and would recommend this instrument from Akai.

Strumento che permette di produrre la propria musica senza dover restare nella postazione classica dello studio. Nelle mie intenzioni iniziali, lo avrei usato per sviluppare qualche idea per poi continuare in studio, ma man mano che lo utilizzo, mi rendo conto che la performance è talmente ottimizzata, che è possibile sviluppare una traccia nella sua interezza. IL metodo di lavoro è differente da quello usato quando si produce al computer con DAW, qui ci si focalizza su di una cosa alla volta e lo si fa molto rapidamente grazie al touch screen molto reattivo e ai pulsanti diretti che permettono di navigare tra le varie sezioni. Lo si può anche utilizzare in maniera ibrida, facendo girare il software MPC sul computer e potendo così utilizzare anche i plugins nativi. I progetti salvati sul computer, possono essere aperti in standalone e viceversa. La qualità dello speaker integrato è ottima e permette di farsi un'idea su come le parti siano mixate tra loro, l'uscita cuffia è di ottima qualità e potente, la batteria ha una durata di svariate ore, non ho ancora provato a usarla fino al limite, ma per adesso ho lavorato fino a 4 ore a batteria ed ero ancora al 50%. Lo strumento è molto pubblicizzato nell'ambito della musica Hip Hop, ma è molto valido anche per farci musica elettronica, cosa che io sto facendo con soddisfazione.

Fa tutto senza bisogno del portatile. Come l’ho acceso, tutte quelle lucette, è già bello di fuori ma il suono è stupendo

Poteva sembrare perfetto che sia arrivato tutto nuovo tutto perfettamente imballato! Dopo 1 settimana ha smesso di funzionare. Morto !

Macchina favolosa per produzioni …ottima per qualsiasi genere , se non si è abituati al mondo mpc e al suo metodo di lavoro va studiata bene…ma una volta imparata darà soddisfazioni assicurate…casse interne molto buone con bassi molto presenti …batteria integrata buona …unica nota va acquistata subito una memoria esterna perché quella interna è molto poca e facile da riempire…quindi meglio prendere subito un ssd per aumentare la memoria…per il resto macchina favolosa straconsigliata!!!!

Pro: è Akai, la migliore in fatto di beat MPC live II ti permette di creare senza limiti, con una marea di suoni e kit arriva standalone senza bisogno di computer con cassa integrata e connessione wireless e blootooth…include spazio per ssd interno io ne ho preso uno da 240GB. Pad larghi e comodi, se la colleghi al mac col cavo integrato usb3.0, col software puoi praticamente interagire direttamente e se ti trovi meglio in post produzione puoi editare da lì senza restare sullo schermo da 7”. ci fai di tutto con questo gioiello. Contro: inizialmente fai fatica ad abituarti all’interfaccia sopratutto se non vieni dal mondo Akai MPC. Da migliorare la user experience.

Ottimo prodotto! Possibilità di realizzazione musicale pressoché infinite! Ottimo materiali e cassa integrata molto potente! È come avere uno studio di produzione potatile! Consigliatissimo!

This device does everything. It can be a portable DAW that can control and record your entire studio, or it can do it all itself. It has full song making capabilities where you can create midi sequences or audio loops and that can be saved as songs. You can create entire drum kits for the pads (or use the hundreds already included for free!) and make your own beats and sample your old records or songs from an ipod through it's inputs. You can fill it full of your own samples if you want, and even warp them into stepped synths or slow and time warp them. It recognizes every MIDI USB device I plug into it instantly AND it can power those MIDI USB devices from its own powered USB ports. Even when it's running on it's own batteries! No joke, you can chain as many USB powered devices and you want on this thing and the battery will power them all (At the cost of runtime!). Got a keystep? Plug it into the USB and it just works.The speakers are actually really nice and the battery life is about 6 hours on the dot. The overall feel is it's quite heavy and solid. It's all metal and it shows. The touch screen is actually very cool and you can do most everything via button combos as well.For inputting music, it's really geared for beats and samples above all else. The standard step sequencer is nice and easy to use and you'll have drum loops going easy. The grid mode/key roll is a bit harder to use. It's where the touch based screen isn't as precise, so if you want to put a C# note on step 6 you'll likely place it on D and have to select and move it down. It's easier to simply live record your melodies. If you want to do ARPs and such, it has all that built in. It has hundreds of different modes and you select your scale (like major, minor, pentatonic, etc) and then if you want to play chord (It has 64 sound polyphony) arps or single note arps.It has about 50+ built in FX like reverb, compressor, ducker, chorus, etc.It really can do everything. Plus it can sit on your lap on the couch. For what you get, the cost is amazingly cheap, IMO. There is a reason so many people are picking these newer MPCs up like crazy.
