I installed this on a nice wooden box I made to hold a power strip that I used to charge my many devices. The power strip on its own was unsightly with all its cords. The box hides all the tangles of the cords. On the front of the box, I installed this USB-A panel mount. This allows me to plug in a USB-A device and charge. It was easy to install and basically acts as an USB coupler allowing me to join two USB cables together. It is a much more elegant solution.

Ordered expecting to return after seeing some reviews, and reading about products like this in general. It only works one way up, but this was expected. Otherwise is flawless!Charging, video and USB all work through this device, as long as you are using a USB-C to C cable on both ends that supports all of the above - A 20gbps Cable Matters cable with charging and video support worked great for me.

Super verarbeitete Buches zum raus leiten von USB-C Anschlüssen bei seiner eigenen Konstruktion.Die Montage schrauben sind mit dabei, aber etwas kurz.Das Format gefällt mir sehr und passt bei mir in die Konstruktion perfekt rein.

This is the second pass-through style panel mounted connector I've had from SHANFEILU now and I have to say that this USB-C one is much better from start to finish. They’ve provided accurate measurements for the cutout required to mount this and the proper sized countersunk screws with it. Both of which were missing on the RJ11 one I tried previously.Other than those corrections, this is essentially the same thing, it's a metal bodied connector that has the expected connector on the front and rear of it. My intended application for this is to place it in the case of an electronics bay in a 3D printer, with it connected up to the host single board computer inside that controls it. In this instance it happens to be a Raspberry Pi 3B and I've got a small length USB-A to USB-C cable inside going from the Pi to the rear of this product so that I have an easily accessible connection point to the Pi inside without having to fumble around or flipping the printer for access. My use happens to be for data, but there’s nothing stopping you from powering a single board computer with this panel mount connection if you don't have a 5V source inside.Just for the sake of testing, I gave this a go with my 65watt PD wall plug and my power hungry soldering iron and it had no issues supplying the 65 watts during the initial heat-up. For a sustained power test I used my Steamdeck and it had no problems supplying a constant 40 watts for charging the battery and powering it while in use with a game open.It's made to a good standard and it’ll look the part in any panel mounting environment, the front is made from a black coated metal with a consistent quality finish. The metal body extends quite far back into the rear of the connector, and the USB-C port at the back is held in place with a sturdy black plastic shell. Both of the USB-C ports on the product have no difficulties with any of my various USB-C based cables and I've been able to reliably pass both data and power through it without any issues. As mentioned it comes with a pair of counter sunk screws and a pair of nuts for mounting this into a panel but you could always use a different mounting method if required.No issues with this product, it works well and it functions as advertised, if I was being picky the price point is higher than I’d like for a single unit, but the pricing is comparable to other brands selling the same thing.

Come si vede dalle foto, non è altro che un accoppiatore da femmina USB-C a femmina USB-C.Ci sono le viti per fissarlo a pannello oppure lo puoi semplicemente usare se devi unire due cavi USB-C maschio-maschio, magari per fare una prolunga.Funziona bene ed è facile da montare ovunque, chiaramente non è adatto per essere installato su una parete, ha bisogno di una scatola dove alloggiarlo.
