Avevo visto un po' di recensioni prima dell'acquisto e confermo essere molto robusto. Ottima anche l'idea della sezione quadra dell'archetto che costringe il ladro a dover fare un doppio taglio per rimuoverlo.Lo userò per la mia moto.

Devo dire che dopo una ricerca dei migliori lucchetti per biciclette, video su YT e recensioni ho deciso di prendere questo lucchetto che a mio parere è abbastanza robusto e sicuro, sicuramente aggiornerò la mia recensione dopo qualche utilizzo.

La verdad es que como todo producto ABUS es bueno, se ve que es de una calidad muy bueno, no debe ser fácil de violentar, me gusto, más lo devolví porque a la semana de comprarlo salió una promoción y estaba más barato.

C’è poco da dire che non sia già stato detto riguardo a questo dispositivo di sicurezza, tra tutti quelli disponibili sul mercato questo è il più solido, il più sicuro e quello più difficile da tranciare o manomettere. Solidità ABUS 15, il grado più elevato. Ha un peso non indifferente, ma sicuramente è anche quello che creerebbe più difficoltà ad un eventuale ladro, scongiurando anche un mero tentativo, che potrebbe comunque portare al danneggiamento del mezzo che si cerca di proteggere, perciò giustifico tale peso. In accoppiata con un dispositivo (come l’ABUS Bordo Alarm 6000KA) dotato di allarme sonoro al tentativo di muovere il mezzo, a mio avviso crea un’accoppiata che renderebbe davvero complicatissimo anche il solo tentativo di manomissione dei dispositivi di sicurezza, si spenderebbe una cifra che sfiora le 200€, ma sarebbe l’assicurazione perfetta per stare tranquilli. Perciò lode a questo prodotto, 5 stelle super meritate.

Sono molto soddisfatta del mio lucchetto.È facile da chiudere ed aprire , è abbastanza grande da includere nella rastrelliera la ruota e il telaio .Sembra robusto e sicuro , completamente diverso dai lucchetti che ho avuto in passato .Sicurezza 15/15 , è il massimo che un lucchetto antifurto può dare .Ha una doppia chiave , una col codice che si può dupplicare .Mi hanno rubato così tante bici che ho perso il conto , perciò ho deciso di spendere di più ed avere un lucchetto professionale antifurto.Lo consiglio !

Il prodotto e' arrivato,come sempre,un giorno prima di quanto dichiarato.Imballato correttamente in un cartone adeguato insieme a un altro articolo.L'antifurto ad arco Abus 540 lo trovo piu' pratico di una catena in quanto occupa meno spazio e pesa sensibilmente di meno.Va quasi perfettamente sotto la sella di un SH 125 2017 nello spazio dedicato al casco,che non uso in quanto lo metto nel bauletto posteriore.Lo spazio non e' occupato in modo prepotente ma vi si adagia sul fondo in maniera quasi precisa lasciando molto spazio per altre cose. E' solido e da un' ottima sensazione di robustezza (del resto il livello di sicurezza 15 su una scala di 20 la dice lunga sui prodotti Abus).Fornito di due chiavi,di cui una dotata di una luce blu a led,comodissima di notte se si ha bisogno di staccare l'arco e non si e' sotto un lampione.Completa la dotazione la card Abus per richiedere ulteriori copie della chiave,cosa che e' inibita ai non-possessori di tale card. La serratura,malgrado su YT abbia visto un video in cui lamentavano la chiusura difettosa,non la considero tale. La chiave va sempre inserita completamente sino in fondo.A quel punto non ci sono mai stati inceppamenti.Le prime volte anche a me sembrava non aprisse correttamente.E' solo una cosa di precisione,non e' difettosa.Il prodotto è ottimo.

Arrivato aperto come una cozza nella parte gommata dove vi è la serratura. Richiuso ma tende a riaprirsi. Se non riesco ha chiuderlo per bene lo restituisco.

Expensive, but what a great lock. The key engages and turns like butter (important to me after replacing two cheaper u-locks, in two years, that the keys finally couldn't turn any more from binding-up). I've had this lock for a year, in Seattle weather, commuting at least five days a week without interruption (all seasons) and the lock appears to be weather proof. It's heavy, coming in at about 3-1/4 lbs. for the 9" and 3-3/4 lbs. for the longer 11" model (I own both). But when you weigh 250 lbs., and ride steel frames, it's less than 1% difference relative to the cheaper, dead, discarded u-locks I've had. If you're riding carbon, and are skinny, well, I can't imagine you would want this lock stealing back all the reduction in weight you're enjoying. This does not come with the frame mount, bought it separately (about $25). It, too, is excellent, no rattling, easy to remove and return to the mount. The lock's square shackle, hopefully, means that anyone using a power cutting wheel would have to make two cuts, because the shackle does not twist in the lock like round shackles can. The shackle feels stiff/strong enough that a thief would be hard-pressed to bend the shackle after a single cut.

Summary, an excellent strong lock and you will not find anything stronger.This model is p/n 111792 which is the 300 mm reach model without any bike bracket/holder.There are 6 models manufactured by Abus, some with a 230 mm reach and there are two types of bike bracket/holder, the EaZyKF and the USH540 . Thus in the 300 mm reach models you can have without a bike bracket/holder OR with either of two bike bracket/holders. The same with the 230 mm reach models.EaZy KF – Bracket with comfortable one hand operation for easy mounting on round frames with a diameter of 28-36 mmUSH 540 – Universal bracket with easy mounting on round frames with a diameter of 15-35 mmThis review, and the one I purchased, being the 300 mm reach without a bike bracket holder.IMPORTANT to note that this is the latest model 540, there was also a model 54, but if you check the forums and reviews this 54 model had problems with some cosmetic plastic pieces that could be knocked off if you dropped the lock.For the best security you cannot better this lock, and it is rated Gold Secure with a security level of 15 which is the highest that I have seen for any bike lock.Made and designed in Germany by one of the biggest manufacturer of locks.Comes with two keys, one of which has a LED light. Also supplied is a ‘Code Card’ which would enable the owner to order more keys or replace one upon proof of ownership or purchase.On the negative comments I can only list its weight and cost, but then you buy a bike lock like this for the best security. You will not get ultimate security and strength without weight and this of course must cost more. Frankly my bike is worth the expense, plus the inconvenience of making an insurance claim, getting paid and then trying to buy another bike….. Better to lock it securely with a lock like this.
