I work in A/V and a lot of what we do is troubleshoot. So these allow me to easily, without clip leads, tape, soldering etc connect either my headphones to trace down a problem or a phone, laptop etc to any type of input just by cutting the wire and striping it back.I plan to make a “w-style” adapter cable for all my guys using these to wire in parallel with xlr, rca, Phoenix connectors and 1/4”. Then make a custom xlr connector with red and black probes from a cheap multimeter and possible a green clip lead for ground to attach when I want to be able to listen to screw terminals with out unplugging anything.So many possibilities!

I have verified all eight units are fully functional. The plastic box is handy, whether you use it to house these units or something else. Look carefully when first trying to open the box: There is almost-invisible clear tape holding the box closed. I was stumped until I noticed this! In my trials on a sample of six screw terminals, they all gripped #24 AWG solid wire well, but became hit-or-miss on #28 AWG solid wire. It seems unlikely anyone would want to use these with wire that fine anyway. Finely-stranded wire might require first soldering the strands together.

Worked great for hooking up speakers to my mixer. 1/4 “ to 3.5 splitter. I was able to get four speakers for audio in our studio.Sound great!
