(Relevant for Australians/New Zealanders only) Apparently, the MFC-L8690CDW sold in Australia/New Zealand is different from the one sold globally. In that the printer sold globally is compatible with the LT-340CL, but the one sold in Australia/NZ is not.This Amazon product page is clearly pulling its product information from its international counterparts, and so is inaccurate. Double check with your Brother printer manual and brochure first (from Brother AUSTRALIA) before purchasing. Don't make the same mistake I did and order both the printer and this tray at the same, trusting the listing.

This is a great addition to my printer the only issue is with the Brother machine nearly al the specialist paper other than coloured paper needs to go through multifunction tray which makes having the additional tray only useful for coloured paper or as a back to the built in tray.
